President - Danny Gillespie
The Branch President is primarily the
figurehead of a branch and works closely with the branch
secretary in taking decisions out with the range of the
branch committee meetings. It is usually given to the more
senior stewards in branches. The role of chairperson can
and usually does mean the same job but with the obligation
of chairing branch meetings, extraordinary branch meetings
and of course the AGM.
